Hello Reader,

When it comes to preparing vegan meals, it's important not to forget your protein! Lots of vegetables have some protein, but you really need to add some additional protein sources to your meals.

My Favorite Vegan Protein Sources:

  • Beans (chickpeas, black beans, pinto, kidney)
  • Lentils
  • Peas
  • Edamame
  • Tofu
  • Tempeh
  • Quinoa
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Nuts (walnuts, almonds, cashews)
  • Seeds (flax, hemp, sunflower, pumpkin, chia)
  • Non-Dairy Milk (Soy, Pea)
  • Pea Protein Powder

Here are some protein rich vegan recipes that are super easy to make!

Chickpea Curry Salad

This simple high protein chickpea curry salad is sweet and savory with crunchy apples, sweet plump raisins, celery, and a zingy spicy dressing. It’s an easy salad that’s ready in 10 minutes! Try it tonight!

Vegan Tuna Salad

The flavor and texture of this Vegan Tuna Salad Sandwich is spot on! With crunchy celery and onion, and a creamy dairy free dressing, chickpeas are sandwiched between whole grain bread for a healthy whole food plant-based take on the classic!

Lentil Soup

This low calorie lentil soup is chock full of vegetables, leafy greens, protein rich lentils, and tons of spices. It’s a warm, comforting, heart healthy bowl of goodness.

Crispy Pan-Fried Tofu

The key to crispy pan-fried tofu is tossing it in corn starch! This recipe is simple to make and comes out perfectly golden on all sides. Served with a quick sticky teriyaki sauce that perfectly coats the tofu and is topped with fresh scallions and sesame seeds. It’s out of this world delicious!

Black Bean Burgers

Black bean quinoa burgers made with southwest spices are loaded with plant-protein and veggies. In this step by step tutorial I’ll show you how to make black bean burgers that are moist, delicious, and satisfying.

I hope you have found some inspiration to include more plant protein in your recipes!

Happy cooking!
